Abstract
Relevance. In the structure of malignant tumors in children, 35% of cases are acute leukemias. The incidence of acute leukemia is characterized by geographical differences and varies within 2.5 - 4.7 per 100 thousand of the child population. At the same time, the frequency of complications from the nervous system in acute leukemia ranges from 5 to 30%, which can be induced by the underlying disease, as well as associated with treatment. The clinical picture is varied and depends on blast infiltration of the bone marrow and extramedullary foci, the main localization of which is the central nervous system.
